Elongated along the highway Zadonsk - Stebaevo for 3 km. It stands on the left bank of the Repets River.
There are two schools in Kamyshevka - No. 1 and 2.
The village of Kamyshevka appeared no later than the 19th century . The name is probably from the word reeds that covered the banks of Repts .
