Biography
Vladimir Afanasenkov graduated from the Krasnodar Polytechnic Institute . In 1984 - 2006 he worked as a master of the road construction department, foreman, head of the road construction department, head of the Krasnodar regional state institution of the road committee, financial director, head of department in the state institution of the federal highways administration in the Krasnodar Territory. For 1.5 years, he led the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Joint Directorate of the Federal Target Program for the Development of Sochi as a Mountain Climatic Resort”.
Until 2008 - Deputy Head of the Administration of the Krasnodar Territory on the preparation of Sochi for the 2014 Winter Olympics . From April 16 to June 29, 2008 - Acting Head of the City of Sochi. On June 29, 2008 , during the vote, he was elected to the post of mayor of Sochi.
