Geography
Yasny is located on the left bank of the Pinega River , a tributary of the Northern Dvina . It is located at a distance of 198 km from Arkhangelsk , 20 km from the regional center of Karpogory . The streets of the village of Yasny: Dachnaya, Zheleznodorozhny, Zarechnaya, Lesnaya, Mira, Molodezhnaya, Naberezhnaya, Novaya, Novoselov, October, Parkovaya, Pobedy, River Per., Severnaya, Taiga, Energetikov, Yunosti.
Economics
There is a message by rail. In the village - there is a mobile communication network of operators: " Yota " [1] , "MegaFon", "MTS", "Tele2", "Beeline". The Arkhangelsk-Yasny highway operates year-round, but in the spring and after prolonged rains it is suitable only for the movement of off-road vehicles. On the road are two intersections with the Pinega River. On one of them (near the village of Yasny) there is a ferry crossing and a pontoon bridge, on the other (near the village of Belogorsky) there is a pontoon bridge.
Karpogory-Tovarnye railway station is located at a distance of 4 kilometers from the village.
The Ust-Pokshengsky timber industry enterprise, which is a city-forming enterprise, operates in the village.
