Vakif Shayhnurovich Fakhrutdinov (b. November 18, 1952 , Chistopol - May 9, 2016, Moscow) - an assistant to a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation since 1994 , a former People’s Deputy of the RSFSR.

He worked as a district nurse of the clinic. In 1975 he joined the Communist Party . From 1975 to 1977 he was an instructor, head of the organizational department of the Chistopol City Committee of the Komsomol. In 1977-1981 - locksmith, safety engineer for the automobile depot of the Ministry of Health of the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic . In 1981-1990 - model designer at the Kazan Electrotechnical Plant TPO Sviyaga.
He was elected people's assessor of the Vakhitovsky district people's court of Kazan . In 1989 , he left the Communist Party. In 1990-1993 - People’s Deputy of the Russian Federation , was a member of the Committee of the Supreme Council of the Russian Federation on the rule of law, the rule of law and the fight against crime, participated in the work of the Non-Party Deputies and Democratic Russia factions, was the coordinator of the Rodina parliamentary faction, a member of the Council of the Republic Supreme Soviet of the USSR as part of the delegation of the RSFSR (1990). June 12, 1990 was one of the deputies who voted against the adoption of the Declaration on State Sovereignty of the RSFSR . 1992-1993 - Member of the Commission on Citizenship under the President of the Russian Federation. In March and September 1993, he voted for the removal of Yeltsin from power, was the defender of the House of Soviets of Russia.
Since 1994 - assistant to the deputy of the State Duma.
He died on May 9, 2016 in Moscow after a long illness.
