Polyushko

Polyushko ( Ukrainian Polyushko , Crimean-Tat. Polüşko ) is a village in the Nakhimovsky district of the city ​​of federal significance of Sevastopol, part of the Kachinsky municipal district [7] (according to the administrative-territorial division of Ukraine - the Kachinsky council of the Nakhimovsky district of the Sevastopol City Council ).

Geography

Located in the north of Sevastopol, on the right slope of the Kacha valley in the lower reaches, the height of the village center is 23 m above sea level [8] . The highway T-0117 Severnaya - Saki passes through the village, the distance to Sevastopol is about 15 km ( Bartenevka , North side ). Neighboring settlements - behind the highway, to the south-west of Orlovka , 1.5 kilometers south of Vishnevoe .

According to the 1989 census , 1286 people lived in the village [10] , in 1998 - 1734 people, the area for that year was 135.6 hectares [11] . According to the village council for 2008, the population was 1787 people [12] , according to the census as of October 14, 2014 - 1951 people [13] . By the decision of the Sevastopol City Council of May 5, 2011, the village area was changed and amounted to 118.1114 hectares [14] .

History

 

The village was founded in the postwar period, as part of the Bakhchisarai district . The name is considered to be derived from the name of the farm to them. Polina Osipenko, as part of which the village was created [11] . On June 15, 1960, the village of Osipenko was on the Tenist Council [15] . February 15, 1965 the village was transferred to the Sevastopol City Council [16] . Since March 21, 2014 Polyushko as part of the city of federal significance Sevastopol of Russia [17] .
