Village People ( Rus. People from the Village ( Greenwich Village - a Manhattan area, New York, known during the creation of the group for the activity of the art and gay community )) is an American disco group formed in 1977 by the French composer Jacques Moralie and the most famous with their hits " YMCA ", " Go West ", " In the Navy " and " Macho Man ".
