Mark Petrovich Bubnov ( March 27, 1923 , Odessa - September 23, 2002 , Moscow ) is a Soviet architect . Honored Architect of the RSFSR .

Biography
Born March 27, 1923 in Odessa in the family of Peter Vladimirovich and Klara Naumovna Bubnov. After completing 10th grade in July 1942, he was drafted into the army and sent to the 15th separate training tank regiment of the Moscow Military District . In December 1942, M.P. Bubnov received the rank of senior sergeant . He was sent to the Kirov Tank Plant , where tank crews and marching companies were formed. After the acceptance, the materiel was sent to the front in the 59th separate tank regiment . [one]
January 7, 1943 was seriously injured. In the evacuation hospital, he had to amputate his left hand. In July 1943 he was demobilized as a disabled person of the third group.
After returning to Moscow in September 1943, Bubnov entered the Moscow Architectural Institute . In 1949, he graduated from it and began working at the Mosgiprotrans of the Ministry of Railways of the USSR . The first work (under the guidance of architects A.N. Dushkin and B.S. Mezentsev ) is a high-rise building at the Red Gate .
In 1960, M.P. Bubnov joined the design department of the Palace of Soviets (later the Central Research and Design Institute for Spectacular Buildings and Sports Facilities) as the chief architect of the project. Since 1968, Bubnov led the workshop number 1. He began to design large public buildings.
He died on September 23, 2002, was buried at Vvedensky cemetery [2] .
