Biography

Born December 14, 1945 in Vorkuta (now the Republic of Komi ) in the family of a miner. He graduated from the Moscow Mining Institute (now the Mining Institute of NUST “MISiS” ), the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the CPSU .

He worked as an electrician, a mining foreman. Since 1970 - at the Komsomol and party work. Later he headed the Property Fund of the Tula region .

Since 1997 - Chairman of the Property Management Committee of the Administration of the Tula Region, Deputy Governor of the Tula Region.

In December 1999, he was elected to the State Duma of the third convocation in the Novomoskovsk constituency No. 175 of the Tula region (nominated by the Communist Party electoral association), in the State Duma he was a member of the Deputy Agrarian Industrial Group, and was deputy chairman of the Property Committee.
