Biography
Graduated from Gorky State University (1944).
- Head of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics (Control Theory and Machine Dynamics), Gorky State University (1958-1990).
- Member of the editorial board of the journal "Radiophysics" (1958-1964).
- Member of the National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (1965).
He is the founder of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at the University of Nizhny Novgorod and one of the founders and organizers of the Research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics. He was a member of the Russian National Committee on Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
He has about 500 scientific works and two dozen inventions, the author of nine monographs, four of which are published in foreign languages.
