Kordofan peoples

The Kordofan peoples are a group of peoples in Sudan , on the Kordofan Plateau, conventionally distinguished on the basis of linguistic kinship. They speak Kordofan languages (often included in the Nigero-Congolese macro family ).

Most of the Kordofan peoples are Muslims Sunni , some adhere to traditional beliefs.
