History
In November 1898, entrepreneur Kostrulin, who supplied kerosene for institutions and city lighting, appealed to the city duma with a request to allow him to have a horse-drawn railway to facilitate the delivery of goods [3] . In 1902, the movement was opened. The system existed until 1921 [1] [2] .
Route
The route began with a rotary ring near the Rolma factory, passed along Yaroslavskaya (now Proletarskaya) street, then along one of the streets inside the earthen rampart, turned to the station and ended with a rotary ring near the Spaso-Yakovlevsky monastery .
