The South German head of the Moor ( German Süddeutscher Mohrenkopf ) is a breed of pigeons bred by German pigeon breeders.
Content
History
The homeland of this breed of pigeons is the city of Württemberg in southern Germany . The first mention of the breed dates back to the beginning of the 17th century, and the breed standard was adopted in 1978 .
General impression
Birds have different color plumage. They strongly resemble German cross monks , but the first-order feathers in the wings are white. The pigeons of this species have excellent posture , a proud appearance, a high landing on their feet. The plumage of them is black, red, yellow and blue. A characteristic feature of the breed is a conch-shaped, dense, high forelock, passing from the back to the mane, and descending to the ears on the sides with curls at the ends.
Flight
The flight of these birds is circular at low altitude, short. Their flight often occurs separately from the flock.

The conditions of detention are undemanding, fertile and well-fed chicks.
