Underground Structures
The basis of architectural and artistic solutions is the theme of space exploration. Unconventionally resolved the entire internal volume. The station is a modern engineering structure that resembles a spaceship with porthole windows in shape.
The artistic image of the interior is created on the basis of a single architectural element made of precast concrete in the form of a flower petal. The elongated visor on the track wall of the platform is a light-protective element and at the same time a screen of light flux, which is directed to the ceiling arch. The aesthetic appearance of the station lies in the softness of the lines of the entire volume and its individual architectural elements. Good illumination, the combination of the white ceiling vault with the dark red granite lining of the track walls and inscriptions made in golden tones give the impression of lightness and spaciousness.
