Geography

Minusinsky district is located in the southern part of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, on the right bank of the Yenisei River , in the central part of the Minusinsk depression . The area of ​​3185 km².

On the territory of the district are located the Lake of Tagarskoe , Lake Bolshoi and Maly Kyzykul, as well as several smaller lakes. The rivers Tuba , Lugavka , Tesinka, Minusinka flow through the territory of the district.

Adjacent territories:

  • northeast: Kuraginsky district
  • southeast: Karatuzsky district
  • south: Shushensky district
