Cargados Carajos ( French Cargados Carajos ), also known as the rocks of St. Brandon ( French Saint Brandon Rocks ) - a group of small islands (from 16 to 40) and a coral reef in the Indian Ocean . It is part of the Outer Islands of Mauritius . Located 300 km northeast of the island of Mauritius .

Geography
The total area is 1.3 km². The reef stretches from north to south for more than 50 km in width - about 5 km. Sometimes the islands of Karagados-Karajos are included in the Mascarene Islands .
Coconut trees grow on some islands.

Temporary settlements
On the island of Raphael there is a private fishing station (at least 35 workers, up to 800 in a season), and there is also a weather station on the islands (8 people in 1996 ). Small settlements on the islands of Avocaré, Cocos, and Sud. The settlement on the island of Albatross (Albatross) was abandoned in 1988.
