Russian Post Day is a professional holiday for postal workers, celebrated in Russia since 1994 annually on the second Sunday of July.

History
The history of Russian Post has more than a thousand years. Russian post is one of the oldest in Europe . (For more information, see the history of Russian Post .)
The celebration of Russian Post Day was established by decree of the President of the Russian Federation “On the Day of Russian Post” dated May 16, 1994 No. 944 to commemorate the role that Russian post played in the development of the Russian state [1] .
Commemorative Envelopes
In 2001, Russian Post issued an artistic, labeled envelope to mark the celebration of Russian Post Day. An unmarked stamp with the letter "A" is printed on the envelope as a sign of postage . Then they began to go out annually.
