Philip is one of the three children of Maria and Gerhard Kohlrayber; his sisters name is Sandra and Gerlinde.

Sports career
- Carier start
He started playing tennis at the age of four. The debut of the ATP tournaments occurred in April 2002, thanks to a special invitation from the organizers of the tournament in Munich .
