Constamonite , or Costamonite ( Greek Μονή Κωνσταμονίτου ) is an Orthodox Greek monastery on Mount Athos , consecrated in the name of Stephen the First Martyr . Founded in the XI century, the twentieth in the hierarchy of Athos monasteries. It is located in the northwestern part of the Athos Peninsula, 2 km from the sea.
