VSSK “Exhaust” ( Russian. Intovka S niper S special K rupnokalibernaya ; GRAU index - 6C8 [1] ) or VKS [1] [2] - Russian silent large-caliber sniper rifle , made on the layout of bullpup . It was developed by special order of the Special Purpose Center of the FSB of Russia together with the ASH-12 large-caliber assault rifle (Similar to the complex of AS Val and the VSS Vintorez rifle). For the first time, weapons were presented to the general public at the Moscow Interpolitech- 2005 exhibition.

The main purpose of the VSSK is a low-noise and flameless defeat of lightly armored and unarmored vehicles, as well as manpower in personal protective equipment (including heavy bulletproof vests) at ranges up to 600 meters [3] .

Description and Design
VSSK reloading is manual, the reloading handle located on the right side of the rifle moves progressively, which is more ergonomic than the control of a traditional "bolt" bolt . On the handle associated with the bolt frame , there is a pre-stragging lever and a fuse of the handle, which excludes spontaneous opening of the shutter. The barrel bore is locked by turning the shutter on four symmetrically located barrel combat stops. Trigger trigger type. Five cartridges are placed in a plastic single-row magazine, the sleeve is reflected to the right.
The fuse control box is located on the left. The rifle has a folding bipod , which when folded is entirely placed in the fore-end . The bipod design allows you to adjust the height of the line of fire when firing. The height of the butt pad and the position of the butt plate are also adjustable. The main sight is an optical sight, for the installation of which a universal mounting plate is used in the upper part of the receiver. Auxiliary sight - mechanical, diopter type, front sight and rear sight are folding.
For firing from a sniper rifle, rifle cartridges SC-130 of 12.7 mm caliber are used. Such cartridges provide accuracy of fire of the order of one angular minute (SC-130PT), as well as breaking through a 15-mm steel plate at a distance of 150 m or body armor of the 5th security class at a distance of 100 meters (SC-130VPS). Muzzle energy - 2.5 kJ.
The rifle has an integrated silencer that can be removed during transport or cleaning.
