Fokino is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Gagarinsky district . The population is 3 inhabitants ( 2007 ) [1] . It is located in the northeastern part of the region, 21 km northeast of Gagarin , on the banks of the Zarochenka River, 15 km north of Batyushkovo station on the Moscow - Minsk railway line, 2.5 km west of the border with the Moscow region . It is part of the Akatovsky rural settlement.

Famous People
On December 6, 1914, a Hero of the Soviet Union was born in the village, a senior sergeant guard, anti-tank gun commander of the 241st Guards Rifle Regiment of the 75th Guards Rifle Division of the 60th Army of the Central Front - N.K. Vinogradov [2] .
