- in the northwest - with the Ashkovsky rural settlement
- The Gagarin - Pyshkovo highway runs through the settlement.
- The Moscow - Minsk railway runs through the settlement, there are no stations.
- Large river: Alyoshnia , Moscow .
- On the territory of the settlement is the extreme eastern point of the Smolensk region (4 km east of the village of Zaprudnya)
