Krutets is a village in the Aleksandrovsky district of the Vladimir region , part of the Andreevsky rural settlement .

Geography
The village is located on the banks of the Seroy River, 3 km southeast of Alexandrov . A ski run runs south-east of the village.
In 2009, the four streets of the village were given the names: Uspenskaya (main, it is the oldest street), Zarechnaya, Moskovskaya and Sosnovaya.
History
In the XVII century, the village of Krutets was the estate of Vasily Buturlin, it remained in the possession of this family until the 1870s, and then passed to the merchant Zubov. In the 18th century, from 1727 to 1738, one of Peter the Great ’s favorite chicks lived here in exile, General-General Ivan Buturlin , in this exile, Tsarevna Elizaveta Petrovna visited him during her visits to the Alexandrov settlement . The founder of the first church in Krutz was Andrey Buturlin , nicknamed Krivoy, this can be seen from the inscription on the preserved ancient temple cross of 1674. But to complete the work begun, to consecrate the newly-built church in the name of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary , had already to his son Ivan Buturlin in 1676.
In 1844, a wooden church was built in the village on a stone foundation with a bell tower. In 1891, a wooden chapel was added to the church. The throne in the church was one in memory of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The parish consisted of the village Kruttsa and the village of Vedevoi. There was a literacy school in the parish; there were 12 students in 1892/93 [2] . During the years of Soviet rule, this church was lost.
In 1905 [3] in the village of Krutets there were 19 households.
According to the data for 1895, two one-day fairs were held annually in the village: Epiphany on January 6 and Lenten on August 29. Goods delivered to the fair: flour, cereals, salt, vegetable oil, honey, meat, wooden utensils, iron products, cloth, chintz and so on. The income of merchants for the fair day of the Epiphany Fair was about 3100 rubles, Lenten - about 1170 rubles [4] .
In 2010, a new wooden church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary was built in the village [5] .
In April 2011, there were 104 yards in the village.

Attractions
In the village there is a monument of history and culture of the Vladimir region - the Zubov-Buturlin manor of the 17th-19th centuries, the wooden church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary (laid in 2007, consecrated in 2010), the grave of Sergei Nilus [10] .
