Story
Anisim (S. Gamov) , the eldest son of a prosperous tradesman Grigory Tsybukin (V. Pavlov) , marries the poor girl Lipa (E. Korikova) . Anisim soon leaves his father's house. The old man does not rejoice at the pretty and quiet daughter-in-law, who gave him the long-awaited grandson - the heir. But the greedy and treacherous beauty Aksinya, the childless wife of his youngest son Stepan (S. Yushkevich) , did not like Lipochka and her little boy - because now all the inheritance of Grigory Tsybukin will go to the son of Lipa ...
