The daughter of the Russian actor, the premiere of the Kiev operetta, Vladimir (Edmund, in honor of the hero of the play A. Dyum “Kin”) Davydovich Bostunov and Marie Brown - French, born in Alsace .

After arriving with her mother in Moscow , at the age of fifteen and a half, she married Lieutenant B. F. Trukhanov (the marriage was aimed at breaking free from family custody), which she soon divorced.

In 1911, Paul Ducas dedicated the artist to his ballet Peri , which she performed in Paris in 1912 . Since 1918, she was the wife of A.A. Ignatiev , with whom she came to Russia in 1937.
