Career
Ksenia began skating at the age of five. With Konstantin Bezmaternykh, she paired up in 2002 . They trained at Valentina and Valery Tyukovs in Perm.
Ksenia and Konstantin twice became bronze medalists of the World Junior Championship ( 2006 and 2007 ), and finally, in 2008 they won the championship title of the tournament.
In the 2008-2009 season, Ksenia and Konstantin, together with the coaches, decided to remain in the juniors for another year. They won the junior grand prix in Mexico , then they became fourth in the stage in Belarus , but still reached the final of the series. In the “adult” series of the Grand Prix, the couple was announced for the stage in China , however, due to an injury, Ksenia was forced to abandon the performance [1] . By the final of the Junior Grand Prix, Ksenia managed to recover and in this tournament the couple became the third. At the Russian Championship 2009, they were only fourth, losing to Ilyushechkina and Maysuradze the fight for getting into the national team at the European and World Championships . In February 2009, they did not perform very well at the Universiade - they were the sixth (out of seven participating pairs).
The whole season of 2009-2010, Ksenia suffered from a back injury. Because of this, the couple was forced to withdraw from two of the three tournaments in which they participated, including the national championship . Immediately after the national championship, it became known that Ksenia Krasilnikova ends her sports career.
