Types of pitching
Keel pitching is a variable inclination of a floating vessel to the bow and stern under the influence of excitement or other external forces.
Keel pitching worsens the working conditions of mechanisms and devices , causing a decrease in the speed of the ship.
Negatively affects the human body, leading to poor health and loss of performance.
On ships, it makes it impossible to use installed combat systems, thereby removing them from combat readiness.
At large amplitudes, it can lead to loss of stability of the vessel and its flooding.
