Give It to Me

“ Give It to Me ” is a Timbaland recorded song featuring Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake for Timbaland’s second solo album, Shock Value (2007). She was released as the first single from the album in 2007 . According to Media Traffic, this is the eleventh single on the 2007 most successful single list. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award for " Best Joint Vocal Pop Performance " in 2008 .

A little scandal was associated with the song. In his verse, Timbaland mentioned Scott Storch, the producer with whom he worked on Justin Timberlake's song “ Cry Me a River ”. After receiving a reward for this song, Timberlake thanked Timbaland, but did not mention Scott. Scott was offended for this, and began to accuse Timbo of stealing other people's labor, money, and exploiting the works of people. In response to this statement, Timbo answered him with a verse from this song:

However, soon Timbo decided to make peace with Scott, which he did. He apologized to him for everything, and they reconciled.
