Career
Together with Catherine, they stood in 2000. Until 2012, he trained with Elena Kustarova and Svetlana Alekseeva .
At the 2008 Russian Championship they won a bronze medal. Due to the fact that the first Russian couple Oksana Domnina / Maxim Shabalin was not able to participate in the World Cup due to injury to a partner, Bobrov and Solovyov took part in the world championship, where they were 13th.
At the next championship, the countries became only fourth and thus did not make it to major international starts. In February 2009, they took part in the Universiade , where they took 5th place.
At the 2010 Russian Championship, Ekaterina Rubleva and Ivan Schaefer were ahead of the much more experienced, took 2nd place and entered the national team at the European Championship , where they became 9th, and the Olympic Games , where they took 15th place.
In April 2012, they switched to training with Alexander Zhulin and Oleg Volkov. The transition to a new coach brought the first significant success in the 2012–2013 season: the pair became the first at the 2013 European Championships and took third place at the World Championships .
The new season 2013-2014 began at the Cup of China where they became second. At the Cup of Russia they won a gold medal and made it to the Grand Prix Final . In the final, we stopped a step away from the podium.

In March 2016, it became known that in the Bobrova doping test taken after the European Championships, the WADA -forbidden drug meldonium was found [4] . In April, ISU canceled the temporary suspension of Beaver because of the low concentration of the drug in the doping test and the long term of its elimination from the body. The pair continued training in the next season.
A new pre-Olympic season the Russian couple began in Bratislava at the Nepel Memorial . The athletes after the short dance were second, but in the free dance they managed to move to the leaders. Third Olympic Season
