About the album
White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean is the band's first record with a new member, El Hefe. The original title of the album was: White Trash, Two Kikes, And A Spic. However, Eric Melvin's mother, hearing this name, told everything to Eric's grandmother, who did not like this name. She made him feel guilty and change the name of the album. All songs were written by Fat Mike, except for “Straight Edge” (authorship of Minor Threat ).
The song "Please Play This Song on the Radio", can be heard in the final credits of the movie Chase , 1994 release. Straight Edge was the band’s first jazz experiment.
