Peter Fedorovich Tkachenko ( December 21, 1878 , Sinyavka , now the Sosnytsky District of the Chernihiv Region - January 3, 1919 ) was a Ukrainian musician, a blind kobzar .

Biography
In 1887 , at the age of 9, Tkachenko went blind.
In 1894, Tkachenko began studying under Andrei Gaidenko, and later continued his studies with Terenty Parkhomenko .
He died in 1919 from typhus .
Creativity
Tkachenko's repertoire consisted mainly of songs. Opanas Slastion wrote in 1906 that the Kobzar knew three thoughts:
- “Brother and Sister” (in Ukrainian: “Brother and Sister” )
- "Widow" ( ukr. "Widow " )
- "Crying slaves" ( Ukrainian. "Crying slaves" )
Peter Tkachenko traveled a lot, worked in the cities of Chernigov , Nezhin , Konotop , Kharkov , Poltava , Lokhvitsa , Priluki , Pyryatin , Kremenchug , Nikolaev , etc. In 1905, for two months, he lived in the house of the Director of the Ekaterinoslav Historical Museum - Academician Dmitry Yavornitsky , playing for visitors to the museum.
For his achievements, he was included in the list of famous international cultural figures of UNESCO in 1977 - 1978 .
