Koelreteria ( lat. Koelreutéria ) is a genus of Sapindaceae trees ( Sapindaceae ).

The name is given in honor of the botanist Joseph Gottlieb Kölreiter .
Deciduous trees of small or medium size (usually up to 12-15 m tall), are common in nature in East Asia . Fruit - tricuspid box 3-6 cm long, color - from green to red-brown, with lots of black seeds.
In North America, kolreteria has turned into an invasive species .
