MSTU Rugby Club is a rugby team from Moscow . MSTU rugby players take part in rugby-15 and rugby-7 tournaments. The club was founded in 1959 at MVTU im. N.E. Bauman . Performs in the Moscow Rugby Championship .

History
After the festival of youth and students in 1957 , when the USSR rediscovered rugby again, clubs began to be organized in different parts of the country. One of these places was MVTU them. N.E. Bauman , where in 1959 the eponymous club was organized. The first coach of the club was Anatoly Sorokin. The vice president of the Russian Academy of Sciences Andrei Kokoshin, the best scorer of the first championships of the USSR Alexander Grigoryants , the senior coaches of the USSR national team of different years Yevgeny Antonov and Pyotr Etko, the six-time USSR rugby champion, the vice-president of the Alpine Skiing and Snowboard Federation Valery Tikhomirov, the six-time champion began to play in the club USSR Rugby Anatoly Grachev.
