Bell, Kristen

Kristen Bell was born and raised in the town of Huntington Woods, a suburb of Detroit (Michigan). She is the only child in the family of Tom Bell, the editor of television news programs, and Lorelei “Lori” Bell, the paramedic. Her parents divorced when she was two years old, she has two stepsisters from her father’s second marriage - Sarah and Jody.

At the age of four, Bell stated that she did not like her first name and wanted to change it to Smurfetta by the character of the cartoon Smurfs, but her mother convinced Kristen to use Ann's middle name. She used the name Annie before high school.

Bell graduated from Barton's elementary school in Huntington Woods, where she studied singing and step. Before high school, Kristen's parents decided to transfer her to the Shrine Catholic school, the city of Royal Oak. There she participated in theatrical productions and studied in a music circle. Then the girl entered the prestigious Tish School of the Arts at the University of New York, where she studied the art of musical theater.

Before her first film role in the film "Polish Wedding", Bell performed in theatrical and musical productions. In 2001, her Broadway debut took place - she played Becky Thatcher in the production of " The Adventures of Tom Sawyer ." After moving to Los Angeles, she took part in several television shows and performed small roles in films before getting the lead role in the television series Veronica Mars . The series was first shown from September 22, 2004 to May 22, 2007 on UPN and The CW Television Network.

In 2016, Bell starred in the comedy film "Very Bad Mommies", where the actress worked with Mila Kunis and Katherine Khan ^{[4] [5]} . After the financial success of the film, the sequel to “ Very Bad Mommies 2 ” was announced, in which Kunis, Bell and Khan repeated their roles ^[6] . The premiere in Russia took place on December 7, 2017.

In late 2007, Bell began dating actor Dax Shepard . They announced their engagement in January 2010 ^[7] , but decided to postpone the wedding until gay marriage was allowed in California ^[8] . On June 26, 2013, after the cancellation of the third article in the Law on the Protection of Marriage , Bell made a proposal to Shepard on Twitter , to which he replied with consent ^{[9] [10]} . They married on October 16, 2013 at the Beverly Hills County District Office ^[11] . Spouses have two daughters - Lincoln Bell Shepard (born March 28, 2013) ^[12] and Delta Bell Shepard (born December 19, 2014) ^[13] .
