Biography
Born in 1944 in a military family, so she had the opportunity to travel a lot. During frequent travels, I absorbed the whole diversity of the culture of Italy , Japan , many regions of the United States . Rowena began writing at the age of 23, but for a long time her work did not go beyond easy hobbies. Since 1973, Rowena has been living and working in New York , where, thanks to her unique life experience, vivid imagination, talent, perfect style and technique, she is becoming popular among science fiction fans, artists and creative students. Throughout her career, her work has graced the covers of hundreds of books, calendars, and magazines such as Playboy and Omni . In 2000, for working on the cover of The Garden of the Stone, Rowena was among the nominees for the ASFA (Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy Artists) award in the Best Cover Design category. Rowena now lives in upstate New York , drawing inspiration from beautiful rural landscapes.
