Features
- UEFA Euro 2008 is the only licensed game of the European Football Championship 2008, which presents all the logos and trademarks of the championship, all the teams and all the stadiums in Austria and Switzerland, which hosted the European Football Championship 2008 .
- The new game mode “ Captain Your Country ” ( Russian: Captain Team ) presents the opportunity to play matches for one single player (without switching between them) and earn the title of captain of the team. It can be either an existing football player or created by a player using a special editor built into the game. The player’s task in this mode is to go out with his team to the final of the European Championship , and then to win the main trophy and receive the prize of the best player of the championship - “ Adidas Golden Foot ” ( Russian Golden Boots Adidas ).
- The multiplayer game mode " UEFA Euro 2008 Online " is an online championship, where matches are played on the Internet. Games start from the playoff stage .
- Battle of the Nations mode ( Russian. Battle of the Nations ). At the first launch, the player is invited to choose the country that he will represent. It will not be possible to change this choice in the future in order to avoid fraud and special understatement of results. After each match (not necessarily for the country that he represents), the player earns points, which are credited both to him personally and to the country he represents in the Battle of the Nations mode. At the end of each day (until June 30), the best players are determined among the winning country.
- Change in ratings of football players - depending on the results shown, the performance of football players changes, as a result of which both improvement of indicators and their deterioration are possible.
- The “ Story of Qualifying ” mode allows players to go through certain game scenarios based on the history of the Euro 2008 qualifying tournament . Performing tasks the player gets the opportunity to open tasks of a more complex category.
- Weather changes - now the weather really affects the gameplay. For example, rain can create huge puddles on the field, in which the ball will lose its speed, which leads to unpredictable situations.
- Goal celebrations are now controlled by the player himself. After a goal has been scored, different key combinations will lead to different actions of the football player.
- The player level goes from beginner to goledor.
Player Profile
On a special site, EA Sports, a profile is created for each player, which records the matches played, and creates a list of friends of the player. The player can join interest groups, upload his video from the game, chat and create his own avatar, buying for him new clothes for personal points earned during the game.
