The Military Technical Cadet Corps ( VTKK ) is a specialized general educational military educational institution of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation that existed in the city of Togliatti from 1997-2011 . VTKK was located on the territory of the Togliatti Military Technical Institute (TWTI).

History
The Military Technical Cadet Corps was formed in accordance with Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 12, 1996 No. 1027 [1] , Order of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation of September 14, 1996 No. 336, and Resolution of the Mayor of Togliatti of May 8, 1997 No. 499.
The Military Technical Cadet Corps was directly subordinate to the head of the Housing and Arrangement Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation .
On August 28, 1997, the Military Technical Cadet Corps was awarded the Battle Banner .
On November 21, 2011 , about a year after the dissolution of the Togliatti Military Technical Institute (branch) of the Military Academy of Logistics and Transport named after Army General A.V. Khrulyov , in whose territory the VTKK was located, the Federal Military Educational Institution “Military Technical Cadet Corps of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation” was eliminated [2] .
Learning
The educational process in the Corps was carried out in accordance with the educational program of secondary (complete) general education with additional programs providing for the early vocational guidance of students in the military construction specialties of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation .
The term of study in the Corps was 3 years ( grades 9-11 ).
The first release took place in 1999 . More than 80% of graduates continued their studies at the Military Engineering and Technical University ( St. Petersburg ) and its Togliatti branch (formerly TVVKISU ), which after 2004 became an independent higher education institution - the Togliatti Military Technical Institute (after 2008, TVTI was joined to the Military Academy of Logistics and transport named after Army General A.V. Khrulyov, and then transformed into its branch, and disbanded in 2010).
Cadets
For study in the Corps , young people aged 14-15 years old who graduated from the 8th grade and who meet the requirements of professional selection were accepted. Admission to the Corps was carried out on a competitive basis, however, orphans and children without parental care were admitted without examinations , and the children of servicemen who died in the line of duty, served in military conflict zones, who had a total military service of 20 years or more, were dismissed from military service upon reaching the age limit for military service, as well as children brought up by one military parent came after successful exams outside the competition.
