Biography

Val Bezik's mother, Angelin Matelian, was born 1927 in northern Ontario in a family of immigrants from Croatia . Father - Dushan Bezik - a refugee from Croatia , arrived in Canada at the age of 25 years. The families of both parents came from the same village on the island of Solta .

In 1965 , Val began to ride with his sister Sandra Besic . In 1966 , they first performed at the Canadian Junior Championships, where they took the penultimate place. In 1967 , they won this championship.
