Biography
Fedor Nazimov was born on December 9, 1764 into a noble family . As a young man, he was recorded as a corporal in the Preobrazhensky Life Guards Regiment (January 30, 1777), in which he fought with the Swedes .
Since February 1, 1790 - Captain of the Kexholm Infantry Regiment .
He took part in the Russian-Turkish war of 1787-1791. , the Polish congregations of 1792 and the suppression of the Kosciuszko Uprising .
On August 1, 1799, Nazimov was promoted to colonel and appointed commander of the combined grenadier battalion, and on November 21, 1799 he was approved as commander of the Ukrainian Musketeer Regiment.
May 16, 1803 Nazimov was promoted to major general [2] . September 4, 1805 was appointed to the post of chief of Kurinsky 79th Infantry Regiment .
He took part in the Russian-Turkish war of 1806-1812. .
September 27, 1810 Nazimov was appointed commander of the 2nd Brigade of the 15th Infantry Division in the army of Alexander Petrovich Tormasov .
During Napoleon’s invasion of Russia, he led the 15th Infantry Division in the 3rd Reserve Observation Army.
From November 5, 1816 to 1821, F.V. Nazimov held the position of Kiev civil governor, while from the military rank he was renamed to actual state advisers .
November 26, 1816, his merits were awarded the Order of St. George, 4th class No. 3159.
Fedor Viktorovich Nazimov died on March 7, 1827 and was buried with honors in the village of Voronin, Klinsky district.
