Biography
He graduated from the Tsarskoye Selo real school , in 1911 he entered the St. Petersburg Psychoneurological Institute at the general education faculty. Later he studied at the physical-mathematical and historical-philological departments of St. Petersburg University .
Since 1918 - a researcher at the Tsarskoye Selo artistic-historical commission, in 1919-1921. He worked in the Department for the Protection of Monuments of Art and Antiquities, in 1921-1924. - Researcher at the Russian Museum .
Since 1923, he headed the art department of the Petrograd branch of the State Publishing House , one of the organizers of the Bibliophile Society and its chairman. Researcher at the Leningrad Institute of Book Studies and the Institute of Book Studies at the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, a member of the Russian Society of Book Friends.
In 1933 he was arrested on charges of sabotage (“The Ivanov-Razumnik Case”), but after a short detention he was acquitted.
During the Great Patriotic War he survived the first siege winter of 1941-1942. In March 1942 he was evacuated through Lake Ladoga. Gollerbach rode with his wife, the car went under the ice. His wife did not have time to escape, which is why Gollerbach fell into depression [1] . He died of starvation on the way to the evacuation. He was buried in the Vologda region.

He wrote poetry. He left a rich literary heritage - works about Alexander Pushkin , Vasily Rozanov , Alexander Blok , Akim Volynsky , Mikhail Kuzmin , Alexei Tolstoy , Fedor Sologub .
