Virgo ( lat. Virgo ) - the sixth sign of the zodiac , corresponding to the ecliptic sector from 150 ° to 180 °, counting from the vernal equinox ; mutable earth trigon sign.
In Western astrology, it is believed that the Sun is in the sign of Virgo from approximately August 22 to September 23 [1] [2] . The sign of Virgo should not be confused with the constellation Virgo , in which the Sun is from September 16 to October 30 .
The ruling planet of Virgo is Mercury [3] [4] [5] .
