Cancer ( Latin Cancer ) is the fourth zodiac sign corresponding to the ecliptic sector from 90 ° to 120 °, counting from the vernal equinox ; cardinal sign of the trigon Water . Rules the fourth house of the horoscope.

In Western astrology, it is believed that the Sun is in the sign of Cancer from approximately June 22 to July 22 [1] . The sign of Cancer should not be confused with the constellation Cancer , in which the Sun is from July 21 to August 9 [2] .
