Wrede, Ludwig

Ludwig Wrede ( him. Ludwig Wrede ; October 28, 1894 - January 1, 1965 ) - Austrian figure skater who performed in doubles and single skating.

In pair skating, Ludwig Wrede originally performed as a duet with Herma Szabo . They won the world championships in 1925 and 1927 and won bronze in 1926.

After Sabo decided to leave the amateur sport, Wrede began to compete with Melitta Brüner , with whom he won a bronze medal at the 1928 Olympics . In addition, this pair won two silver and bronze world championships from 1928 to 1930.

In men's single skating, Wrede won a silver medal at the European Championship in 1924 and bronze in 1929 in the world and in Europe.
