It stands on the left bank of the Kamenka River. 15 km east - the city of Zadonsk .
According to the documents, Borki has been known since 1777, when they belonged to the retired lieutenant general Lieutenant Mikhail Lasunsky .
The name was given by the nearby fences (fishing lines).
