Initially, in the mythology of Asia Minor, a deity, a demon - hermaphrodite . The asleep Zeus dropped the seed on the ground, and a deity with double genitals was born. The gods cut off her male organs [1] , an almond tree grew from them. The daughter of the Sangaria River tore his fruit and laid it on his chest, became pregnant and gave birth to Attis [2] .
