Government awards of the Russian Federation - awards of the Government of the Russian Federation .

Government awards should be distinguished from state awards and awards of the President of the Russian Federation - orders, medals, insignia and titles, the institution, awarding and presentation of which is the responsibility of the President of the Russian Federation . These awards should not be confused with departmental awards . The latter are administered by federal executive bodies , which are not necessarily subordinate to the Government of the Russian Federation .

Prizes

Prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation are monetary prizes that are awarded annually for successes achieved in various fields of activity. A person who is awarded the prize is awarded the title of Laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation in the relevant field and in a festive atmosphere, a diploma and a badge of the laureate of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation are awarded.

Also, since 2002, all laureates of prizes of the Government of the Russian Federation who retired and ceased to work, received a monthly bonus of 330% of the amount of social pension (in 2018, this is about 17 thousand rubles). However, most retirement laureates who are trying to apply for financial incentives at branches of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation after May 2017 are denied this. At the same time, thousands of laureates of past years who managed to draw up a bonus until mid-2017, still receive it.
