The coat of arms of Namibia is a shield of colors of the national flag , crowned with the image of a screaming eagle . The shield is supported by two oryxes , symbolizing courage, elegance and pride. The basis is the symbolizing the desert figure, on which an amazing velvichy grows, symbolizing the national fortitude. At the bottom of the coat of arms on a silver ribbon is the national motto: βUnity, Liberty, Justiceβ ( Eng. Unity, Liberty, Justice ).
