Grundlsee ( German: Grundlsee ) is a lake located in Styria , in the Alps , in the south of the Dead Mountains, not far from Bad Auzsee .

The lake has a very high quality of water (the water in the lake is suitable for drinking). The water temperature in the lake in the summer can reach 25 degrees. Vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines are prohibited on the lake.
