Biography
After graduating from Dubna High School ( 1952 ), he worked as a stage worker at the Maxim Gorky Theater of Young Spectators in Baku . Since 1953 - the head of the village club in his native village. In 1954-1959 - Student of the Agronomy Department of the Penza Agricultural Institute. After six years of working as an agronomist at state farms in the Ardatovsk and Kovylkinsk districts of Mordovia, he entered graduate school at Mordovia University ( 1965 ) and for 28 years ( 1968 - 1996 ) was a university lecturer. Academic degree - candidate of agricultural sciences, associate professor .
Community Activities
Nuyan Vidyaz - one of the founders of the national movement "Mastorava" ( 1989 - 1990 ), organizer of the Foundation for the Salvation of the Erzya Language ( 1993 ), since 1994 - editor-in-chief of the socio-political newspaper Erzyan Mastor.
It is published in the magazines Syatko , Chilisem, Siberian Lights in Erzya and Russian . The following books came out from under the pen of Yevgeny Chetvergov: “Lilac Moon”, “Velen Veigelt” (“Village Voices”), “Cheesy Muffin”, “Ien Tust” (“Colors of the Year”), “Yangamo” (“Devastation”) .
