Geography
The village is located in the upper river. Uskat (a tributary of Tomi ), 178 km south of Kemerovo , 7 km from the railway station Trudarmeyskaya station (on the Novokuznetsk - Artyshta line ). The total area of 13,259.45 ha. History
The village of Kamenny Brod appeared on the banks of the Krivoy Uskat River in the mid-1920s. XIX century . Since 1931, the village officially became known as the Red Broad . In 1953, it was transformed into an urban-type settlement and subordinated to the Belovsky City Executive Committee . It was the most remote village within the Belovsky City Executive Committee. It was located at a distance of 40 km from the city center and about 20 km from the edge of the main spot of urban development. (From 1957 to 1960 it was part of the Kiselevsky district). Since 2006 - the administrative center of the Krasnobrod city district.
