- In 1959, the Toktogul biographical film (directed by Vladimir Nemolyaev ) was shot at the Kirghizfilm film studio.
- In 1964, to the centenary of the writer, a commemorative sign was issued, which is a disk with his full-face portrait, an indication of the period (1864-1964) and the name on the front side and two lines from the poem in Russian (“I'll die, my turn will come, but my people will be eternal” ) and Kyrgyz languages.
